I've Got Imposter Syndrome About My New Imposter Syndrome Book!

I recently wrote and released my first book, a practical guide to breaking free of Imposter Syndrome for women.

It’s part mindset mastery, part manual, and I really have spilled all my secrets – all the knowledge and skills I’ve accumulated over (almost) twenty years of helping women with their Imposter.

And… I’ve been struggling with my own Imposter Syndrome when it comes to shouting about it!

My Imposter goes something like this:

Me: “Yey, you wrote a book! Holy Jeff, this is going to help so many women!”

Imposter: “Yeah but it’s only an ebook, not a real one”

Me: “Wow, so many people are saying such nice things about how it’s helped them, and it’s friendly and conversational”

Imposter: “Flimsy and insubstantial, you mean?”

Me: “I wonder how many more women I could help if I REALLY shouted loud about this book, got it physically printed, pitched to speak at events?”

Imposter: “Remember how mean that woman was, she made you feel like an absolute loser and that you were 2 inches tall”

Etc. etc. etc.

Have you ever had a conversation with your Imposter like this?

Here’s the thing: no matter how experienced you are at dealing with Imposter Syndrome, every single time you step outside your comfort zone, that little voice is going to pop up to try and stop you.

Because that’s what it is for.

To try and keep you safe.

Peace, freedom and growth comes from being able to welcome your Imposter like a friend, understand it’s just there to save you from potential pain, and to rise up and do the thing anyway.

(There’s a whole load behind that, but that’s the gist – read the book if you want to know the nitty gritty as to how).

And so, I’m 100% committed to doing the things that scare the pants off me, and that make my Imposter rise up and scream at me, because I have the tools to turn the dial down on that voice, so it doesn’t stop me, or even slow me down.

Now I have 2 invitations for you today:
